Our specially appointed Compliance Officer monitors compliance with regulations, organises training courses on ethics and provides information on the values and code of conduct of our parent company, AMG Critical Materials N.V.

The Chief Compliance Officer of AMG Critical Materials N.V., in turn, is in close contact with our local Compliance Officer, taking care of the interests of AMG Graphite, communicating challenges and risks to the management, and constantly working on the optimisation of compliance processes. In addition, AMG relies on external legal experts and specialists from various disciplines to advise AMG Graphite on significant changes to the regulations.

AMG Critical Materials N.V. actively participates in the United Nations Global Compact – an initiative for companies that are compelled to align their business activities and strategies with ten generally accepted principles in the fields of human rights, labour, the environment and the fight against corruption. In addition, AMG supports the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) for improving governance in resource-rich countries. This initiative reviews and publishes corporate payments and government revenues from the oil, gas and mining sectors. AMG Graphite work in Mozambique is relevant to the objectives of the EITI.
