GK Graphite offers purified and ground graphite powder in various grain sizes. The smallest particles of this high-purity natural product are in the lower single-digit micrometer range and are used for specialized applications.

These consist of fine graphite particles dispersed in various liquids such as oil or water and are used to improve emergency running properties, for lubrication in forging processes, and as release agents in casting.
From our extensive portfolio, we carefully select the appropriate grades for our water- or oil-based graphite dispersions – tailored to the specific application. In addition to ready-to-use graphite dispersions, GK Graphite also provides customized powder blends and powder premixes that can be optimally dispersed on-site using high-performance mixers – ensuring maximum flexibility in the production process.
Our oil-based graphite dispersions improve the emergency running properties of technical parts and ensure conductivity within the material matrix. They impregnate a wide variety of materials and optimize performance in oil-based applications.

When exposed to heat, from approximately 180 °C, graphite flakes expand rapidly, increasing their volume many times over. The resulting exfoliated structures have a low density, a large surface area, and are particularly suitable as conductive fillers.
